This weekend since Friday i was out of town and took a trip to the Barnes and Noble store.

I bought the first Mistborn book where I want to at least try out some other fantasy book series where I mostly stick with Star Wars, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Tom Clancy and John Grisham

How good is the Mistborn trilogy anyway? is the whole metal magic complicated or sort of easy to breeze through?

I have read the first book, which was pretty good in my opinion.
Literally just started book two, as in - I am on page 9 or something.

I love Sanderson's work, highly recommend The Stormlight Archive books if you haven't already read them! :)
As for the metal magic, it seems overly complicated at first but soon starts to make sense.

I read one of them. It was so long ago that I don't remember the name of it. The novel was okay, but once you've read the LOTR books everything else just seems like a letdown or a ripoff.
