I find Jud Crandall kind of scary to be honest.

I know he's generally seen as a good guy, but you always get the sense that he knows more than he lets on and he is the one who introduces Louis to the Pet Sematary. He could be Stephen King's version of Iago from Shakespeare's Othello.
I agree with you there. I did not find him to be innocent. No sir!!!

Does the Buick in 'From a Buick 8' count?

It just oozed malevolence throughout despite spending nearly all the time in the Shed. Which just goes to show how great the writing was in that one...

currently watching the tv version of the stand, and it occurs to me (cause not liking the guy who played Flagg) that Viggo Mortenson,LOTR,etc, would make a really good Randall Flagg..

He also makes one good-lookin man. :)
Ha,I guess I will have to take your word for it,danie,to me he is just another greasy haired looking dude, but he has a certain bad guy kind of quality..was also good in the Indian Runner..

Don't know about most feared, but the character that creeps me out the most would have to be Patrick Hockstetter from IT. That nasty adolescent psycho freaked me out worse than Pennywise.
Yeah, he was creepy allright. That description about him standing and looking at his brother...... Just like being inside a psychos brain... Not nice.

Let's see........

Greg Stilson. Plus his "twinner" Sarah Palin really creeps me out because she is real.

Barlow is right up there.

The Boogeyman.

Patrick Hockstetter was quite disturbing.

Jack Torrance.
