No worries about alcohol at dinnertime around the kids, I appreciate the sentiment but my kids have eaten at plenty of restaurants that serve beer and liquor. As long as the place isn't a total dive bar we're fine with whatever is chosen.

In The Dark Half...I think..."Cleveland Casual" is referenced...to-do w/the dress of one of the detectives. I'm thinking polyester, Korfram shoes, wide lapels, wide ties? Maybe one of those things best left to the imagination of the individual reader. Full Cleveland must be the full Monty...plastic carnation in the lapel...peace-symbol on the other.

Since my employment future was uncertain, I was unsure of my availability to attend this years Kon.
I've asked my future boss about the possibility of taking that weekend off, and he doesn't have a problem with it. So my plans are to come bug all the other attendees.
