If Hope Solo were male, they wouldn't have batted an eye. She is one of the loudest voices for equal pay for the women's soccer team. They want to punish her for that are using this as an excuse, IMO.

Well, that confirms something I’ve always felt... that soccer should never again be called ‘football.’ Football’s a real sport! In football, someone calling the other team a bunch of cowards wouldn’t even make the news. Heck, football players punching each other out after a game would barely make the news. And in the Legends Football League the women are brutal, are tough as nails with aggression and hyperbole ruling the day, and happen to look freakin’ terrific in their uniforms. A real man's and woman's sport!

I would like to say to Conan O`Brian that he is an unbelievable a-hole, racist, bigot and any other offensive word there is.
Yes, Serbia lost to the USA in the men`s basketball final, yes, it was a big difference, but there is no shame in losing to the best team on the world. We still got silver, that for us, a nation of only 7 million people, shines like gold.

Ah, OK, I always wondered what the real purpose was.
That was a pretty nasty attempt at a joke.
But putting that aside, Serbia did great in the basketball tournament. I watched a couple of their games before the gold medal game and they looked good. They play the US well the first time around. I saw Vlade Divac in the stands and he still looks like he could play. I enjoyed watching Vlade during his NBA career. He's an awesome guy.

Yeah, the first game was even pretty close, but in the finals...nothing and nobody could have stopped Kevin Durrant.

Yes, Vlade was a great player, the Sacramento Kings team season 2001/2002 should have won the NBA, but...the judges are sometimes just, well....lets say biased.
