Nobody actually read it wrong. warren was given the wrong card. He was given the second copy of Best Actress award. He stalled reading because it said "Emma Stone ~ La La Land" and when he showed it to Faye she read it.
I watched that yesterday afternoon. What a fabulous movie. She had such a small part, but it really packed a punch.
I think they said this morning it has never happened before.

technically, she read what was on the card, the issue was it was the wrong card for Best Picture Award. The person who handed out the envelop was given and gave Warren the wrong category award card ( who questioned it as it said Emma Stone) Upon showing it to Dunaway- she simple read it.
I would absolutely LOVE her hair if she took it down about two inches and evened it the hell out.
I turned my television off as the "la la" crew was headed up and thought, "Well, that should be the end of it, unless they mistakenly called up the wrong bunch." WTF - I missed it all. Thank goodness for the internet. But I don't even want to watch it - it sounds painful.

I had a stomach thing. I had to get through my day yesterday, so I gave in to the meds last night. I missed most of the red carpet and all the drama, but I felt good enough this morning to shake my booty at Zumba.
Even the Oscars aren't immune to 'alternative facts', eh?
