The Possum

Had an interesting day. Hubby called and informed me. He was taking me to the Grand opening of the George Jones Museum. So we are driving down the road, we have to slow down to let a possum cross. Anyway here are some pictures we took. The one with the Titans stadium was taken of the porch of the Bar on the fourth floor of the museum. Beautiful place. Today is the 2 Year anniversary of Georges death. Remember click on the pics to enlarge.

When I was a kid, My dad's big car threat when we were acting up was, "If you don't knock it off, I'm going to turn on George Jones." We'd shut right up--lol. I'm still not a huge fan of his voice, but that guy could write a song! It sounds like you had a great time, Linda

When I was in my band in the mid 90's we played with the Toadies several times down in Deep Ellum. Cool cats...
