I read the article on-line from the New York Times that was posted recently. Stephen King has a red t-shirt and is holding a guitar. I assume this is his favourite guitar. It has little spiders on the frets and 'King' on one of them. I noticed he's also had a haircut. I take it that the photo is recent. Would anyone know if Stephen King likes the TV series from the 70's, Kolchak: the Night Stalker starring Darren McGavin and Simon Oakland. I was just watching the episode with Tom Skerritt.

In Danse Macabre, he says that he liked the Night Stalker movie quite a bit, and had affection for the TV series, though it became a "Monster of the Week" show (his phrase for it).
