...nearly peed my pants, when I heard the grate's sound,

Then the front door opened, slowly and...no one was there...

I had to move on...the sidewalk behind me crawling toward me as it disappeared!

A small crowd of people had gathered 'round me prone on my bed,
an ash wood stake, a two-pound maul, I must be undead!
