The Rook by Daniel O'Malley

A young woman wakes in a park, surrounded by bodies. She does not know who she is. She discovers letters left for her by the (previous?) inhabitant of her body, who was some sort of executive officer in an ultra-secret organisation which is kind of a supernatural MI6.

This is James Bond filtered through X-Men and written with a terrific, though understated, sense of humour - always fun, but never at the expense of story or character. Highly recommended.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post links, but if I am, this one gives you the first 4 chapters.
