So I watched the movie over the weekend, I have seen it before but must have been before I watched Bates Motel as I was amused at Freddy Highmore being the main character(s) and found it quite interesting that he was playing twins which again meant him acting 2 parts.

ANYWAY I'm running on

Has anyone read the books? I know, I know, they are children's books really but I love either Super creepy or super enchanted. Are they worth a read?

I havn't seen the movie or read the books so I probably shouldn't be replying to your post lol but I'm curious to see what others think of the books. I didn't read The Chronicles of Narnia until I was an adult and I loved them :)

I love the Chronicles of Narnia too! The movie was good but it was one of those where you get the feeling the books would be better.

I probably shouldn't admit this but... I even read the neighbor kid's Goosebumps books. Some of them are pretty creepy lol.

Haha, this made me smile, I loved these books when I was in school! I remember a Kids TV show called Are You Afraid Of The Dark too, my brother and I used to watch them and then be really creeped out

I recently read The Child Thief by Brom. It was pretty dark but I liked it :)

(from Amazon)
The acclaimed artist Brom brilliantly displays his multiple extraordinary talents in The Child Thief—a spellbinding re-imagining of the beloved Peter Pan story that carries readers through the perilous mist separating our world from the realm of Faerie.
