My wife and I were in Colorado recently, and had time to visit the Stanley Hotel (inspiration for The Shining). It really is a great tour, and I highly recommend it to any SK fan in Colorado with a couple of hours to spare. They've even recently added a small hedge maze on the front lawn.

Anyway, the guests for room 217 were on our tour, so they let us look inside the infamous room. There's even a Stephen King library under the TV! I didn't get many pictures, but here are a few. Hope you enjoy!

I forgot to mention the fact that besides fun I would love to meet you guys!
...likewise m'dear....once the Summer rush has wound down...I'll start rolling the plans for the next Kon...so that all can see and decide....unlike the past couple, dates and agenda will be set up ahead of time, to an extent-so that time debating when all should go is cut to a minimum...I am keenly aware we can't all be in the same place at the same time...
