I'm hoping someone here can tell me if the 3rd edition of this book (on Amazon: 6 October 2015) is just a reprint... or is it updated with additional material? I have a copy from years and years ago, and I didn't wanna pull the trigger and then discover the only update was to the cover.
Thanks in advance...

Just so you all know- David at Betts Books is selling signed copies of this for $25 + shipping. It states on his website that copies are available till they're gone and I don't know if he still has any left. The retail price is $35, so it looks to be a good deal.

Isn't the author the one who doesn't get his info from reputable sources?
Sundrop post from Ms mod in another thread...

Hmmm, is George Beahm known for stretching some truths in his SK book(s)? I was looking forward to reading it. Definitely want to get Bev Vincent's Dark Tower Companion after I'm done with the DK books as well. Cheers

MsMod:
What I can say is that George Beahm has not received any of his information directly from Stephen or anyone on his staff, nor will he ever, and there have been a number of inaccuracies in his books.

if that is a quote from MsMod, and there's no reason to doubt it's genuine, is it generally known why he operates this way? i hadn't heard this before and my curiousity is piqued. is there another thread i need to read, or are the circumstances mum between the involved parties?

Not something I'm going to say more about publicly.
