Well.
I don't like heat and humidity much.
But the last two winters have made me loathe cold weather and snow.
So even this summer, like today when the humidity is horrible, I think back to the 11 inches of snow in January, and I think, This isn't that bad...

I live just down the road from Blue Mountain Ski Resort, have some land near Beltzville Lake, and we have a place on Lake Jamie, a couple miles from Mt. Airy Casino. And my daughter starts next month at ESU.

I'm not too far from Beltzville, but we never go there because it's always closed for high bacteria levels lol.

I never go there on the weekends because of the crowds, except for the occasional early morning fishing trip. Enjoy Mauch Chunk Lake much better and we keep a boat there. Ever go to Penns Peak for the concerts?

MC Lake is definitely nicer.
I've been to a few concerts at the Peak, but nothing recently. My husband and I were just talking about how the venue (and view from it) is magnificent, but a bit small to host any real great acts.

...can't stand heat, loathe humidity, would curb stomp extreme cold if I could...I'm a 60 degrees and shorts kinda guy....cripes, if were to strip down to cool off in this current heatwave...somebody would alert Greenpeace and try to have me towed back to the surf....
=D I wear shorts year round, though in the winter I get stranger looks from people than usual. I sometimes describe myself as "warm-blooded", which indicates that I realize that I'm not a reptile, but what I mean is that I get uncomfortable in warmer temperatures sooner than I do in cooler ones. I never wear clothes to sleep, always have a fan on me at night, and define "hot and humid" as Dante might.

Absolutely not for me. Stockholm look its best during summer. Autumn the trees start to look depressed and then it gets cold and then its winter and you don't dare to put your nose out the door but during summer......
