Tomorrow my family wants to go pick some fresh blackberries, raspberries and blueberries on a farm.

Forty-Five minutes each way. Hunched over in the sun doing manual labor. Bugs! A whole half a day wasted. I’m sooooo looking forward to it.

I mean, come on! There’s a freakin’ farmers market 10 minutes down the road. Fresh packaged fruit, no fuss no muss. And they probably come from that same dang farm! Half hour out of the day, tops!

(The only good I can see is I will be sure to ask them to direct me to the Blue Raspberry area... I do so want to try some of those :))

Okay, go to that forage site and see if there is someplace closer!

Sounds like the term "quality time" isn't part of your description of this outing. :smile2:

hahaha! Shoot. Maybe someone went to the farmer's market and then threw that fresh packaged fruit, no muss, no fuss, right in the dumpster behind the Dairy queen!
LOL. Actually I can find raspberries and blueberries closer to me. It’s blackberries that seems to be the bane of my existence, and of course they HAVE to have blackberries. And I doubt a spray can of edible black food coloring on the raspberries would fool them.

Get drunk first........
Now we’re talking... “PLAN A.” Unfortunately most of those bushes have thorns and I might not be too stable. Looks like no good can possibly come out of this. :(

In which case, have your wife drive.
I want to die of old age. Not from a heart attack brought on by screams of terror from being in the passenger seat while she drives.

You'll be drunk--you won't care.

This reminds me.

I just painted my house and I used primer. If any of you have used primer, it is a different consistency than paint. Even though it says it is soap and water washable, this is a lie. I dumped a half a can down the front of my bare legs. I was focused to paint, so thought, heck, I'll just deal with this later. Big mistake. Big. Huge.

Walked into Lowe's with primer down my legs (this was after scrubbing myself raw with a scrub brush where only half of the primer came off) and walked up to the paint counter. The guy asked me how he could help. I pointed at my legs and said, "Primer, do you have something that will take it off my skin?"
He said, "No, just a hot bath and a scrub brush."
I said, "I did that and my skin is hurting."
He said, "Well get a bottle of wine and drink it while soaking in a tub. If it doesn't come off, at least you won't care."

lol.
