Why is Hamster-wheel dude doing this? I want to know more.
Exactly! The only possible explanation is that he's human and therefore wastes huge amounts of time and resources in the race to accomplish NOTHING. This is what humans do. How else can we explain the fruitless, vacuous hours spent watching reality tv like The Kardashiwhores or all the clocked time at the gym just to come home and brainlessly stuff our face with Pringles?

it's not the point that he 'does' it..... there's just no decent explanation of 'why' he does it.
