Edgar Allan Poe's 1838 story "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket" features three starving shipwreck survivors who murder and consume their companion, a man named Richard Parker. In 1884, three real life shipwrecked sailors were tried for the murder of a fourth sailor, a sailor named Richard Parker... who was also eaten! :icon_eek:

Earlier when I first saw this pic, I was moderating and had a terrible case of the fall-asleeps-at-the-laptop.
It took me about 20 minutes to (fully) read one of the posts in the moderation queue, I was naffed.
