I hear he's going to kill off some characters -- like he did when he wrote an episode of Under the Dome. I have a few suggestions...

ohmygosh... I'd forgotten about all the characters SK killed off in UTD in that 2nd season, 1st episode. He even killed one of my favorite characters :( I am really worried now :(

Do NOT give him any suggestions! I like you and I want to continue to like you lol.

I always start out on the StephenKing.com main page and glance at Latest News. I saw the SK/TWD news article. Even commented on the Update, along the lines of Stephen King should make one of his cameo appearances on the episode as a walker. (Would be poetic justice if Rick had to take him out by sticking a pencil into the zombie skull). But my comment never appeared and seemingly got lost in “Under Review” hell... Does anyone read and update the Latest News comments here? :)

No... well not unless someone tells me to lol.

I'd love to see SK play a walker :)

Is SK really writing an episode next season or is that an April Fools Day joke/prank?
I'm not talking about her act--that's silly enough. I'm talking about her baseline character, who she is when she's NOT with the people she's trying to fool. There's no natural progression between who she was in the early eps, even of this season, and the woman who entered Alexandria.
Poor writing, IMHO.
I figure that her
recent demeanor comes from identifying with a woman that's being beaten. She never had a real chance to deal with the death of her abusive husband, emotionally. Maybe now that she's in a safe place, it's catching up to her. The only progression would be seeing a beaten woman. If there's a sudden change, that's the trigger. Either that or, yeah. She was out in the woods too long.

 I guess that would be both me and Steve. I came up with the idea which I presented to Steve and asked what he would do if he wrote a script so the quote is his.
You tell him I said if he even touches ONE hair on Daryl's head, or arrow in his quiver... then he will have one very irate Kiwi to deal with.
(Tell him I said he can moderate the board during off hours. )
(Actually no, don't... his stories still kinda scare the shyt out of me... never know what's coming next. :icon_eek: )

Oh Ms Mod, how could you? I bought it... it was totally believable. The two of you make a mean pair lol.
It helped that Steve has no problem with "killing off his darlings" but I had a feeling people would catch on immediately when I saw his idea about killing off the one with the crossbow. I truly had completely forgotten about the EW piece (that is true) back in January when I asked him about saying he would write a script for TWD. ;-D

Crossbow made no difference- all things become possible when SK writes a script!

His next book would be about someone living in some godforsaken place like NZ who hates kiwis and takes revenge by killing them by drowning them in chocolate. Literally death by chocolate. ;)

That really was a great April Fools Day joke :) Is SK really thinking about writing a script for TWD? or was that part of the joke?

I don't know what the current status of the negotiations are but the EW piece about Steve and possibly Joe collaborating on a script was legit which helped a tiny bit with the creditability of the prank.

I still don't plan to watch TWD, though.
That's okay, we'll just keep watching it for you. If they do write a couple, we'll tell you what to say to him.

"Oh hey Steve, I caught your episode the other night, way to go man, that was great--I especially liked the way you got Daryl to hook up with that new Kiwi chick character, that was hot!" :D
