So who do you think will get killed with Lucille? I know that if they do not show in the premiere episode a lot of fans are going to be VERY Angry.

Whoops! Meant to reply to this before. Sorry.

I'm not sure that they will show it. I think there's going to be a 'back to the town' time shift thing and whoever it was will be conspicuous by their absence and/or only mentioned in the past tense, and then reluctantly.
As for who it is, in a way I hope it's Abraham, not because I don't like the character or the actor - they're both OK - but because if you rule out Rick, Carl, the women (because of Negan's 'code') and Glenn (because doing that would negate the whole BS thing of last year, which would make me madder than anything now), he's the biggest character left. He's also the most likely to mount a challenge, so it makes zero sense for Negan to kill Eugene since he's already beaten. A back-up would be Daryl, but he was already injured and killing an injured man wouldn't paint Negan in the ultimate badass light that's intended. Since he needs to make an example, it should really be old Abe for the chop...or rather, bludgeon.
I think, though, it'll be a bit of a cheat and end up being Aaron. I won't be happy if it is him, because IMO he's a peripheral character at best (and barely even a character, in some ways), but...there it is.

I am going to say if it is Aaron that is the ultimate cheat..to quote Annie Wilkes. Aaron has barely had any screen presence this past season. Plus, he is not a major character. I like Aaron's character-but that would be HUGE let down.

Pretty sure there will be 2 deaths.
Glenn and Abraham. Glenn, because the writing has been on the wall for his character for a while and because they have to realize that they dropped the ball by wussing out last season when his character arc was done. Gives Maggie's character a chance to grow, and will take them to Hilltop as well. Abraham because that just makes sense: he's clearly the biggest threat. To leave him alive would be ridiculously short sighted, and Negan is not stupid.

In a video that's linked on Facebook, the show's pretty much

telegraphed Glenn's death. Negan talking about the importance of a right hand man, and Glenn having been immediately to Rick's right, then Abraham.

Why do you think Abraham would be the biggest threat?I think Rick is,he has shown over and over resiliency and wit and the guts to do what has to be done to survive..not saying he hasn't made mistakes, but he would be my ultimate survivor in the series,so far..though Glenn has been right there too..will be fun to find out! Next Sunday?

To Negan, right then Abraham is the biggest threat. The only one to look him in the eye, scowl, and not wince. Rick was falling apart. Don't get me wrong, I do think Rick is one tough SOB in the long haul, but Negan doesn't know him like we do :)

Gotcha..think ol rick has tricks up his sleeve though..we will see.I really don't know who they intend to off,and don't think even the ones who have been posting all over with inside info know either.Gonna be interesting! I stopped watching the other walking dead series,I just couldn't summon up any interest in whether those folks lived or died,it was just like..bleah..

Two deaths would be interesting, but Glenn...I'm sure he's coming to the end, but not quite yet.
Because if he was going to die at Negan's hands right now in the series, WTF was all that about last year?
Had it been me writing, I'd have had Glenn be one of the Walkers that got into Alexandria...maybe ones of the first ones to approach the group as Morgan showed up again, with Maggie being the first to see him. A whole half-season of growth for her, coinciding with the imminence of Negan. The scene at Hilltop would have carried more resonance for it, too.

In Negan's shoes, I'd take Abraham out in a heartbeat. Abe's a physical presence and a threat. He exhibited no fear at the prospect of a not-very-pleasant death. He can (and does) also serve as a kind of rallying point for the others, a bedrock that they can found new courage on.
But if there were two deaths, and again putting myself in Negan's shoes, I'd also kill Eugene, thereby taking (who appeared to be) the strongest and the weakest to show that it doesn't matter who you are, and that I won't tolerate cowardice and weakness any more than bravado/courage and strength.
