If I remember correctly, the girl got taken down by zombies. The boy saw it, and walked away in a daze.
She did get eaten, but we never knew what happened to him. They left the house together (with plans to split up and search different areas for food), but that's the last we saw of him.

Yeah, it was Rick's watch. Seeing it, she'd have to know that Sam was one of the victims--I can imagine it made her feel bad, because Rick tried to convince her not to involve those kids with their group at all, and she insisted. If they weren't trying to gather food to take to the prison, they likely would still be alive.

Oh, they did.... (Big bang for the season opening, yar?)

Yar got shot and bit. ;)

I had a real fanboy moment at the end of credits treat. Surely only good can come of this?

Confession: I found Carol really, really attractive...but only when she was all gunked up.

And...girl fight! Girl fi... OK. Middle-aged woman fight! Middle-aged woman fight!

No way. That was an all out biatch fight.

I live how Tasha... Mary went out. i like the actress, but anybody that served up baby barbecue needed to have something really, really bad happen to her. Carol could have shot her, but that would have been too quick. Letting walkers get her was much more poetic.

We're all happy to see Morgan, but let's not forget that the last time we saw him, he blamed Rick for his son's death. This new pulled-together Morgan could be on a mission of revenge, not the hero we all want him to be.
True! However, he could also be wanting to join up with his old pal Rick for some humanity. He was on his way to Terminus-so that indicates to me that he wanted to join up with people.

Well, I didn't want to say that, but...yeah.
Carol was pretty damn cold in what she did. Still, they had it coming.

If I'm griping (and I'm kind of in the mood, so I think I will), ending last season where they did still feels like a mis-step. Maybe if they'd shot and added the pre-creds teaser for the latest ep, ending last season with Rick, et al, over the trough as everything kicks off outside before rolling the end creds after the muffled explosion, it would've been more satisfying.
Folks won't agree, I know, but all in all as much as I was looking forward to the return, the wait was pretty easy.

As for the return of Morgan...good guy or bad guy, friend or foe, it's bound to be good (and hopefully it won't be a case of 'an ep to set it up, half an ep to end it'; if a plotline is good and has the legs to run a while, it's daft not to let it).

Speaking of Morgan (or Lennie James, anyway), does anyone know if Low Winter Sun was renewed? I watched it on Netflix not long ago and quite liked it. Might mosey over to IMDb and see what he has in production or pre-production--that would give some idea how long we can expect him to be on the show. He's an in demand actor for a reason! :)

Unfortunately, Low Winter Sun was canceled :( But at least more Morgan! :)

I can not take credit for being super observant-I listen to a podcast called the Talking Dead. It is not affiliated with the Talking Dead tv show. Just two guys Chris and Jason. It is very entertaining to listen to. It's free -Then they have the holy crap did you see that podcast (two per week). Anyhow, they had brought it up today.

4 times? Did you write it or something? :biggrin2:
Don't I wish? lol Nope: once as soon as Himself got home from work, next after dinner to catch what we missed the first time, late Mon night when DD#1 got home from work because she didn't want to watch it alone, finally on Tuesday afternoon because Himself wanted to watch it again.

We are a bit obsessed with this show around here. :)

'We'...or you? ;)

But...did the transmission day change over there at some point?
I ask because we used to get it on a Friday night at 10. At some point last season it switched to Mondays at 9. Has it always gone out on the same day and the same time there, meaning the shift is probably some kind of anti-piracy/anti-streaming-from-the-US measure, or what?
(This week was especially weird. The show went out at 9...and then the exact same ep was repeated at 10, and again at 12. Repeats are usually the following day or 48 hours later.)
