I think one of the down falls of last weeks episode. The van falling perfectly on its wheels-The chances?
Yeah, I noticed that. The physics suggest that
with most of the weight in the front that the van would have either landed on the nose or on the roof
. Eh. TV drama: without coincidence, where would it be? :D

From the way it started...roof, definitely. Farewell and adieu, Daryl and Carol. What it's never going to do is go right round to land on its wheels.
And once you have eliminated the impossible...emergency rewrite. ;) (And yes, yes, dead walking, etc. Some things have to be taken at face value. Others, not.)

Looks like I'm the only one that wants Carol and Daryl to get it on...they're perfect for each other. Being good friends doesn't have to be a hindrance to them hooking up, I believe the strongest relationships can arise from people who have a deep respect for each other and have been friends first. They have a spark, I was on edge when they were alone in that room and was willing them to at least kiss. And even if they did get together, that doesn't mean we would automatically be subjected to constant scenes of them smooching, but it would be nice to think they were bringing some physical comfort to each other when alone. Heck...and I'm not even a romantic!

lol! I understand but I like the fact that a man and a woman can have deep respect for each other and just be friends. True friends. Sex changes everything. Every dynamic. It like alters your chromosomes or something in relationship to how you act around that person, how you treat that person, what you tolerate from that person. It just does. Of course, maybe I'm speaking from my own experiences. I have never been able to have a real friendship with a guy other than a good friend's husband. Back in the day, I would start out friends with a guy, but ultimately he would always want to change that. So, I like seeing men and women be friends -- nothing more. I love that.

Men and women being friends is pretty much incomprehensible to a lot of the creative community, unless one or both are gay. That was one of the biggest fights with my first book: the female protag had a best friend and roomie who was male. Went rounds with my editor for a very long time because she really wanted me to make him gay (the GBF was and is HUGE in Women's Lit). The thing is, for most of my life most of my friends have been men. I still generally get along with them better than women: fewer agendas, more likely to say what they think to your face (lol), less drama. I like Carol and Daryl as good friends, myself.

I'll buy that if Abraham is going to let Eugene tell him everything is 'classified' then he's going to let him go off into another room and 'communicate with Washington' on a dead sat-phone.

Also, on the last episode, what happened to the car that was following Daryl and Carol while they were following the hospital cop car? Remember, right behind them, after they passed the lady zombie in the road, her head got squished by someone following them...

The Talking Dead revealed that there were four vans used for that shoot, and they removed the engine, transmission, and all fluids for safety reasons. But that must've affected the way it fell. The first shot of the van falling definitely should have resulted in a nose dive, or with the van falling on its roof. Not with the van somehow doing a full flip and landing back on the wheels...

Yup. I noticed that, too. I have my suspicions who that might be.... And that's exactly what I think happened with Abraham. We can convince ourselves of the weirdest stuff when we really want to believe it.
