Beth will be a ghost, guiding them through song.

Now, you know...Rick had his 'ghost' moments, right? So...what if Beth appeared as a kind of Will o' the Wisp, luring folks like Maggie and maybe even Daryl off to their doom?
Let's say Maggie, in her grief, 'sees' her sister, and in an echo of what Rick went through, follows her off somewhere...where 'Beth' turns round and is revealed to be a walker? Chomp, chomp, sayonara Maggie.
Then mebbe Glen goes looking for his love, and finds her reanimated remains. He allows her to bite him, then sits down and waits. Exit Glen. No need to see him turn or amble back, no need for anyone to take them out (really). We'd know the story.
But that's probably not how it goes in the comics, so...Daryl it'll have to be.

God, I hated the Ghost of Lori Past episodes...

Anywho... your scenario is likely better than what they're drumming up (lol). Not comic, but they've gone off the trail there quite a bit anyway. Different medium, so all bets are off.

Contracts, contracts everywhere.
For Lori, I think they just had to pay her regardless, or had needed to guarantee a certain amount of screen time. Hence the 'Ghosts...' segments.
For the story...as I've mentioned before, I think there's probably a clause or two somewhere that governs how far off-piste the show can go. Either that or it's a stunning lack of imagination on the part of those running the show (I won't blame the writers too much; they're just doing what they have to do and they get most of it right...ish). ;)

Christmas has come early! :biggrin2:

Good god, that was awful. I need ear AND eye bleach. She's too old to pull off that look (my 16 and 18 year olds dress like that-lol). I wonder why she dropped the faux Melody Gardot (jazz/loung-y torch song singer she was copying, but with less vocal talent) thing she was doing before and during WD? It worked better.

Words Mr. Nobody--you and I need to have us some words. (seeing as it's not your birthday now... :tounge: )

I am not going to allow any writer dudes to take out Daryl... for this reason. SOA is finished now (or rather, will be for me a week from now--so DO NOT TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT!)
You see, if I have to live without Jax in my life (don't know if he's still alive or not... shhhhhhh, don't tell me!) then I am not also going to live without Daryl. These writer types, need to leave me someone, dammit!
So... Daryl is off limits, yar?

I do think it'd work better with Mags and Glen.
Don't watch SOA, so you're safe with me. :smile2: (and it's not my birthday for a couple of months yet.)
