I had forgotten about Clay's observation in Cell. On TWD, in the search for medicine, clothes, etc. along the highway earlier on, an empty and bloody baby carrier seat was found...
who's blood was all inside of that seat in the prison yard, if not Judith's? There were no other remains nearby of anyone else it could have been, someone falling over upon the seat would have left a trail where they'd perhaps been dragged away to be finished off, at the very least, like it was with Lori. I think the zombie stepping on the Governor's chess piece was definitively symbolic that it's over for him on the show. Also, in the Talking Dead interview segments, David Morrissey clearly doesn't expect to be back, either.
Bob had been shot--he could have been bleeding. Tyrese, as well (I think--have to watch it again).
I guess we'll find out in Feb :)

Regarding the governor.

he definitely was bit wasn't he? So, if he's alive it's as a zombie?

Even if I've got that wrong, if he was not bit, he was so badly injured he could not have escaped without getting bit. He had no friends left, no supporters.

a buick 8
David Morrissey lied to Hardwick in a previous interview and Hardwick totally bought it lol. I don 't want to believe the Gov is dead. Like some of y'all, I don't think Lilly actually killed him. I can't even think of a reason for her to kill him. I think if the Gov was killed, the glory of the kill would have gone to either Maggie or Beth and there would be no doubt about his death.
On the Talking Dead they also mentioned how
Michonne and Rick each got a piece of the Guvna before Lily supposedly shot him. (Her aim looked a little shakey...)

I have a feeling if we see anymore of this guy :pirate: it will be as a
walker
That would be interesting. They've talked various times about whether or not walkers can remember things from their human lives;
I think that if he does come back as a walker he might still be after them...I am still very interested in the science behind it from the CDC episode in season one. I wonder how much they remember, because in season one Morgan's wife (as a walker) tried to open the door to their house. She found them again and was able to kill Morgan's son.

I think that Judith is not dead
I agree.

That
blood could have been from anybody, any time after Judith was removed from the car seat.
And what's to say that
the car seat hadn't been moved after Judith was removed and someone else bled on it? The car seat didn't have to be at that exact spot when Judith was removed from it. With all the walkers shuffling around, that thing could have been moved feet or yards after Judith was taken out and somebody else bled on it. Could have been Tyrese bleeding when he took Judith out of the seat to run with her, then the seat got shuffled around by walkers. No blood trail.

I can tell you that
if I just watched a guy shoot my daughter in the head after being bitten by a walker because that self same guy was more concerned with his psychotic power-hungry crusade than her safety, I GUARANTEE that said guy would be deader than a freaking doornail. I don't know if they'll write it in that she missed or something, but I know I'd make bleeping sure not to miss twice.

Exactly. And the little girl from the very first episode who stopped to pick up the toy. Why would she do that, if there wasn't some trace memory of being alive? Maybe it's not true of everyone, but... makes you think.

That geeky guy who was working with the Governor back in the town they had was doing that experiment to see if he could make one of the walkers respond to pictures or music from when he was alive....but I don't recall it ever amounting to anything. I think once they turn they are dead and gone for all practical purposes (except eating of course!).

Yeah, but Morgan's wife keeps me thinking. She knew what house to go to and even grabbed the door knob.

Yep...I hope they get back into the science of it eventually, but if that happens, it'll probably be the last season.

My BH got me the Michonne special edition of the comic book for my birthday (He likes me! He really, really likes me!)--I wonder how much of that will be in the show?

BH and I started watching the show from the first episode again last night (4th or 5th time through for me--lol), and I was struck by a couple of things: 1) Shane's interest in Lori was telegraphed from the first scenes with him 2) that zombie kid DID pick up the toy (I still think some of them have some trace human memories) 3) Lennie James (Morgan) is one HELL of an actor (they should go live with him in the fortified town--think of it: Rick knows that town like the back of his hand!) 4) Impressed all to hell that Andy Lincoln learned to sit and ride a horse like an American :) If you want a contrast, go watch Daniel Craig try to play cowboy in COWBOYS & ALIENS--he sits his horse completely wrong (like a Brit). 5) this might just be my absolute favourite show ever. :)
