I don't recall if they addressed this already or if it was way back in season one,but where are all the cats and dogs?Do they also go zombie?I think a zombie pack of dogs,or wolves,taking somebody down would be scary as hell..

Robert Kirkman has stated that he does not like to have animals in the Walking dead. Norman Reedus had asked for a dog earlier in the season and Robert Kirman said no.
I thought she looked too old for him, too--she's 49 and he's 45, though. The woman who plays Beth is actually 27, but she's playing 17 (and looks it). It's never specified how old Daryl is supposed to be, but I was surprised to find out he's almost as old as I am (a year younger)! Even if he's playing 35 (doesn't look any younger than that), 35 and 17 is still icky.
Animals and little kids are a PIA for series television.
I think that if they ever put Rick with someone, it will not be part of the core group. They're too much 'family' now (if there isn't already a bit of UST between them, like Daryl/Carol, Bob/Sasha). And if they do put him with someone, they'll kill her pretty quick anyway (lol).

I don't mind the age difference. It's not as if there's an entire population to choose from. She brings out the good, kind man in him. And he brings out a bit of naughty in her. It really wouldn't bother me.
That being said, I don't think that's what's going to happen, I just wouldn't have an issue with it.

Normally, maybe icky. But with such a severely diminished population, they may not have the luxury of such morality. There's a planet to repopulate. I mean, sure, our heroes need to survive, but if the human race is going to survive, there need to be babies. Lots of 'em.

It can happen--I have a cousin who was a horrible racist jerk...until he met his current ladyfriend (of almost three years). She's all class (Actually, I have no idea what she sees in him--lol), and no one I would have ever imagined him with.

Having a character that is so popular with viewers have a sexual relationship with a teen age character will infuriate a lot of people. And turn him into the hero of pedophiles everywhere.
I think that putting him in a serious relationship with anybody will be a serious mistake. It would change the whole dynamic of his character. So we should take a show that people like because it's realistic and make it unrealistic in case someone thinks what they see is a good idea?
A) Then we should cancel most shows on television.
B) We should cancel the news.
C) We should cancel most books.
D) We should cancel or severely limit most forms of entertainment.

Wait a minute, I think that when we first saw her she may have been 17 but that was several years ago.. By now she must be in her twenties and to call him a pedophile if he likes her is really beyond the pale.. Yes there is a difference in their ages but I really don't think it's such a big deal..and for some reason Carol has always struck me as being in her 50's..we do want to have Daryl have kids someday right?Besides, Carol is fundamentally twisted, could see her giving birth to a kid and then offing it because it isn't up to speed with survival..
I don't see either Beth or Carol having babies with Daryl. That would have to be somebody else. Maybe Rosita (?) says she hits for the home team to keep guys from coming on to her, but she's really straight. Could be she and Daryl that hook up - even though I don't think their personalities really match. There are bound to be other survivors out there. Maybe one of them will be a down-home type of girl that Daryl can relate with on more levels.
