On Netflix starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe.

This is very good. It is a comedy set in Russia. Daniel is a young doctor sent from Moscow to some godforsaken Russian village. Jon Hamm is his older self looking back on being a young doctor.

I have eyeballed this show from the minute they put it on Netflix, and kept passing it up for other things. It just didn't grab me. But, my younger son asked me to watch it with him, he knew I would like it. Since I take every opportunity I can to connect with this boy, and thank GOD! it wasn't Dragonball Z (running, running, running, running on a friggin' stupid sky road), I sat and watched with him.

So worth the watch for those on the fence with it.

I thought so, too. Radcliffe showed that he has some depth to his acting, and Hamm was just stunning. I think I'd call it a dramedy, though, because it had me near tears a time or two.

Season 2 is now up. It's been so long, I'm going to watch the first season again so I can really enjoy the second. Quirky little story, great setting. Recommend.

So curious how they got a second season! The end of the first sure felt final. I'll definitely take a look at it tonight
