I think this is kind of creepy. I'm not so sure I believe that it'll work as well as the gentleman is hoping. I know that medicine has made huge progress and continues to do so, but the human body can be really picky. There are transplants that nowadays are likely considered common and easy that fail. Organs. The body just rejects things.
What if they put an old head on a young body? Or a young head on an old body? I guess you'd have to match it up as best as you can. Once you sever the spinal cord, I thought that was it. Would the body reject the head or head reject the body?

So they're gonna fuse his skull onto someone else's spinal chord? I mean, I'm no neurosurgeon (or whatever), but from what I hear, spinal chords are some very difficult things to mess with. I know a veteran with just a teensy piece of shrapnel lodged in his spine, and doctors say there's nothing they can do--he'll be paralyzed for the rest of his life. Yet THESE bozos think they've figured THIS out? I just don't see it.
I see some kind of movie about head transplants starring Ethan Hawke in the near future.....
