In addition to writing fiction and hopefully getting a teaching job at my old elementary school in the near future, I've actually given some serious thought about becoming an actor as well. I don't have much experience though. I played the Big Bad Wolf in a production of the Three Little Pigs in second grade, and I took a drama class in my senior year of high school. I don't see myself playing conventional leads or heartthrobs. I see myself playing creepy, crazed, eccentric, or even villainous characters. I recently came up with an idea for a character that I could play: a temperamental, diminuitive, borderline-psychopathic cop who, in spite of his numerous vices, is the lesser of two evils compared to the criminals he pursues.

...volunteer in local community theatre first, and never give up a viable job-while you pursue anything beyond the local scene....best o'luck.....

Good luck! Can I have your autograph before you become famous?
