It is messing with me! I always got up about 530 AM, so now I am awake by 430.
My grandson was up at 530 yesterday morning.
I lay awake for an hour before getting up. I watch TV, and this morning I was on the computer.
I'll be glad when my body gets used to it.
How about you guys? Is it messing with you too?

It usually takes me about a month to fully adjust, twice a year. I think it would be easier to just have those institutions (schools, etc.) who want it for safety reasons, to adjust their schedules, rather than drag the rest of us into it. The old joke is that it was suggested by the carpenter who sawed off the end of a 2X4 and attached it to the other end, to make it longer.

I love the time change in autumn! At 3:30-4:00 in the afternoon you get these great slanted shadows on everthing at a different angle because the sun is in the southern sky. Also, you have the welcoming glow from streetlights and porch lights as you get off work and head for home. Something about this, in addition to the nippy weather, brings out my cocooning instinct and makes me appreciate my cozy house even more than I already do.

I'm almost afraid to ask.....

What else was I supposed to do with no power?

...or you could be a night crawler like me...leave in the dark-come home in the dark....but then again, I'm in the dark most times anyway, so don't know why I should notice a change-'cept when I smack me a deer...
