Merovingian Dynasty (the Franks) ruled Francia for over 300 years beginning 500 AD. They ruled until 752 AD when
they were deposed of by the Pope. The Carolingian Dynasty then took over power.
Only reason I know a bit about Ancient History is because I took a crash course to help me with research of my Family
Tree.
