The only hard part for me is that it gets darker an hour earlier, so around 5:30 pm or so. I need to take the bus at 7:00 pm, so it is a bit scary walking to the bus stop in the dark because of the many intersections that I have to cross. Cars, when there is no traffic lights, can be scary if you are a pedestrian trying to cross in the dark.

No, if farmers need to get up earlier, they don't need government help. ;-D

@ mcpon- can you get some reflective tape? You could put it on your clothing. My children sued to use it when they rode their bikes in the dark. Or maybe even a reflective vest?

Behind you
I just made me so sad. I saw one laying down looking pretty, just outside of woods. Close to busy highway. I thought oh no.

Don't you know, next day I saw a deer body. Hoping it was not him/her.

And they don't pick them up! You have to keep driving by. Turkey vultures are protected here for this reason.

uck. and sad. I have to shield the side of my face driving by them.

They're out in force up here. See them in daytime and at night. Probably pass 6 or 7 laying on the side of the road into work. There was one staring at me today, about 20 feet away from me with a nice rack, when I was stopped at a stop sign. I rolled down the window and yelled at him to get out of here before he gets hit. He ignored me but when I waved my arm out the window he took off.

I have a hard time no matter which way we change. Takes me about a week to recover. The whole family is messed up. Even the dog!;-D
I'm dragging today because the dogs who usually make sure I'm up by 6am are now making sure I'm up by 5am. It's great really. And they're already asleep, but I'm trying to stay awake a little while to play on the board.

I should use it, although it is only for bike riders and the sort where I am from. It would be of great help. Thanks for the advice.

The day when the clocks turn back is quite literally the highlight of my wife's entire year. When the clocks jump forward is her darkest hour.....well actually her darkest week judging by how long she complains about it lol.

Why is it the highlight of your wife's year and the darkest hour when the clocks jump forward?
