Why is it the highlight of your wife's year and the darkest hour when the clocks jump forward?
Had an appointment after work yesterday and when I came out of the building at 5 it was full dark here. This morning at 6 there was a good amount of light, though--enough to wake me up before the alarm. Fortunately, I don't have anything I need to be doing outside in the afternoon the majority of the time but that was the first time I'd had to drive home in the dark.This full dark by 5:30 PM sucks (can't find a better word). Yard light on earlier means more electric used, as well as lights in the house. Plus flashlight batteries for outside chores.
