...I made a brief post earlier, but my heart felt I needed to say more.....this Board, you folks-honestly complete my existence...melodramatic, silly?...maybe, but I say true....when I am unable to participate here daily-there is a hollow spot in my soul....I dearly wish you all could pull up a chair at the GNT table, and break bread with us....I DO count you all as extended family and wish you love unequaled and things to be thankful for, beyond measure....

The usual, off to my crazy-ass in-laws.....then back to my crazy-ass family's house for a second helping of Thanksgiving drama. I'd give real money for a Thanksgiving where we could sit home and cook our own Thanksgiving dinner....is there a normal family out there I could rent for a holiday? I know they exist..somewhere.....

I will be making a bunch of extra buttermilk pies and take them to family and friends the day before.. <<< call it a guilt complex.. I dunno! hahahahaha

We were invited to family, but I called and declined. We will have thanksgiving alone, the 4 of us.

Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving holiday, I hope with all of my heart that each one of you has someone to spend this holiday with and that you will be well fed and loved.
I am thankful for so much, the roof over my head, my children and other family members and the wonderful friends that I love and that care for me in return. I am thankful for the friendships that I have here and for this MB, this place and you people brought me out of a dark time and taught me how to be a grown up and a better person. (I know it sometimes seems like I have learnt very little in that regard)
