Something saucy...

We had a drive-in in our small town while growing up. It has long since been demolished. My favourite memories are flipping coins to determine odd man out. The 2 who lost had to scrunch together in the trunk before we entered and paid. Good burgers, hot dogs and fries as well!

I would love to see an old '70's horror movie called Sssss again in the drive-in theater. It starred Strother Martin. Creeped the crap out of me at 13 years old.
Storyline
David, a college student, is looking for a job. He is hired by Dr. Stoner as a lab assistant for his research and experiments on snakes. David also begins to fall for Stoner's young daughter, Kristina. However, the good doctor has secretly brewed up a serum that can transform any man into a King Cobra snake-and he plans to use it on David. Written by Anonymous
Sssssss (1973) - IMDb

I would also like to see the very first Planet Of The Apes 'Get your hands off of me, you d*mned dirty ape!' and Warriors.

I love the drive in! We still have one here! I've been a few times over the years. When I was a kid we went to the drive in often. They would usually show a family movie first and then grown up stuff. My parents would tell me to lay down and sleep while their movie was on. Yeah, right, Ma. I watched some really inappropriate stuff.

I think almost any Quentin Tarrantino movie would be fun at the drive in. But Pulp Fiction would probably be the best. Something scary - like Poltergeist. And maybe one of the Indiana Jones movies.

When I was 10 my mom took me and my scaredy cat cousins to see a double feature: Jaws and Amityville Horror. Yikes. It was terrifying.

That's the one with Dirk Benedict, right? Or was that Slither? I remember that, after Jaws was a monster hit (heh heh) we had a slew of killer animal movies. Most were laughably bad but a few had those nuggets Uncle Stevie tells us about.

Slither! Another good one! I think Dirk was in Slither but, to be sure, I'd have to look it up.

I bought the DVD of the movie 'Harlequin' which is an Australian horror 1980's movie I saw when it came out but haven't seen for twenty or more years. I noticed that the screenwriter was born in Maine. I liked the movies that came out in the late 70's and eighties. I would like to see something from the 1950's era to fit with going to the drive-in. A sci-fi movie from the 1950's.
