There's been a lot of uncollected short stories and/or novellas the past 5-6 years. I haven't read any of them, but I'm sure it's enough to fill a new collection. Especially if it includes the semi-collected "Blockade Billy", "Morality" and "Under the Weather". I'd love it if it included "Cycle of the Werewolf" too. After all, it's the only novella that's been released but never collected in a SK book.

Any plans for this, Mrs. Mod?

In the past I would try to read any new short fiction by King, but when he went through that fallow period a few years back I found myself just waiting for a collection to be published. I'm sure there have been discussions on that front.

Patience, y'alls...it'll happen when it happens...In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the two new novels we're getting this year. :)
I wonder if it's like in "Bag of Bones"? Probably not I suppose - do you recall how the author had gone through a dry spell but luckily had 5 or 6 other novels up his sleeve he had written but not published yet?
:reading: (Just kidding Mr. King!) :m_thinking:

Not that many but there's always at least one that's either done or in process. It typically is about a year (sometimes less) between the time the first draft is finished and the book makes it to stores because of post-production time so within that year, Steve has written a new one.
