And the first photo, they look huge, whereas the second, they don't look all that big -- sort of like one of those timeline maps that say, "you are here" and it's just this tiny dot in the scheme of things.

The American West, just as it was being discovered by Europeans. I can't decide if I'd rather tag along after a family on the Oregon Trail or follow Lewis and Clark and Sacajawea and Lewis' dog Seaman. Probably the second. (I know I'm invisible to people...kinda like going todash, right?...but I wonder if Seaman would sense my presence?)

I would love to live in Rome at the height of the Roman Empire. Just to see, feel and experience the time. Birth of Civilization, birth of politics, the violence and debauchery, the conflux (is this the right word?) of all the different nationalities, the diversity of religious beliefs. Shoot, just everything about that time is fascinating. However, I will need enough money and connections and be a so I don't fall victim of their rigid caste system. Being a pleb or slave would suck.

I take it Muskrat likes EC comics. Also Warren by the avatar.

I would like to see a year of Washington's maneuvers in the Revolution or maybe the last year of Lincolns life. What Joanie Kay said about Lewis and Clark would be cool too. Ever read "Undaunted Courage" Joanie?

I've met Lewis. He didn't have a whole lot to say.Picker-Gat vacation 058.JPG
