As long as someone doesn’t leave an empty roll, it matters not to me. And how, with a household full of females, they would do this to each other boggles the mind. And why is there always hell to pay if I don’t hear someone’s plea from the far corners of the house to get them a roll because they’re out? Don’t ya’ll look before sitting down? :umm:

They don't check the TP because they are checking to make sure the seat is down that YOU keep leaving up!:D

OH, NO I DON'T! NEVER! I been broken of that habit a long, long time ago as I've always preferred to live a long life. :)

I got broken of that, too, but much more gently, sorta. After Grandma grouched at me for the 1,000th time without result, she finally said, "Look, it means a lot to me just in making the bathroom look nicer, and it takes virtually no extra effort on your part to put it down."

You play to your audience. Leave the area looking nice. I couldn't argue the logic. Heck, I was taught that as a Boy Scout. I've put down every lid on every toilet I've used ever since.

Yes, me too. Although it still brings a smile to my face thinking about my wife taking a dip in the bowl if she didn't check first.:applause:
Did your wife ever flush the toilet on you while you were showering, just because she was angry? If a guy would do something like that it would be Armageddon... But for a woman it’s somehow acceptable. :ambivalence:

Can't say that she has. She has other ways of expressing displeasure. If that's the maneuver that would gives her emotional fulfillment, I'd welcome it, because if she's that angry, a cold shower for me is appropriate anyway.
