I just heard that Tom Petty was found in full cardiac arrest and is on life support. He has not regained consciousness. He is 66 years old. Thoughts go out to him and his friends and family as well as Tom Petty fans everywhere.

I just heard a report that he has passed away.. rest in peace Tom thanks for the music.
Looks like TMZ is reporting he is brain dead and being taken off life support. Not sure how trustworthy they are though.

....I.......just......can't....handle any more........DAMMIT!!!.........he was always a favorite of mine, and the band in the clearing just picked up a helluva of a vocalist.....our hearts are indeed broken....
