Behind you
Top off the top of me head

1. 'Salem's Lot (my first)
2. "The Shining.
3. The Stand .. although this might have come first.
4. DT. ... so hard this might have come first... I am thinking this might be on another level..
5. All of the short stories.

Having trouble finding the ones I did not like

The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
Top:

1, IT
2, 11/22/63
3, The Stand
4, The Langoliers
5, Dark Tower: Drawing of the Three

Bottom: This is a bit tricky because I have not read too many, and stories I may have enjoyed may still be in my bottom 5.

1, Secret Window, Secret Garden - Just could not get going with it, never finished it.
2, Dark Tower: Wastelands
3, Sun Dog - The synopsis sounded so much better.
4, Library Policeman - not bad, just ok.
5, The Shining - Don't Lynch me, I didn't mind it, certainly didn't hate it, but it just bored me for too long. The final 3rd was good, but up until then I just weren't gripped.

3. Lisey's Story

2. Gerald's Game
3. From A Buick 8
4. Insomnia
5. Hearts in Atlantis

Books are pretty easy. I didn't take story collections or non-fiction into consideration for these. Top 5/Bottom 5 short stories would take more thought!
Top 5 books

The Stand
IT
Wizard and Glass
'salem's Lot
The Talisman

Bottom 5 books

The Regulators
Dreamcatcher
From a Buick 8
The Tommyknockers
Under The Dome

I went to look at my bookshelves, and now I have anxiety. :m_fingers: So many more that I loved, for various reasons and at various times. These are my top-of-the-head choices, though.

The Top 5 for me so far... I haven't read all of his books yet.

1. Duma Key. Wireman is my favorite literary character of King's.
2. 11/22/63.
3. It.
4. The Stand.
5. Hearts in Atlantis. More specifically, the actual "Hearts in Atlantis" story... although "Low Men in Yellow Coats" was great too.

Bottom 5, so far

1. Gerald's Game. The only King book I've started and just gave up on without finishing.
2. Blockade Billy. I didn't dislike it, it's just on the bottom part of my list.
3. Cell. I feel weird putting this in my bottom 5, because it is the book that made me really get into reading Stephen King.
4. Thinner. I love this story, but if I must pick out my bottom 5, it has to go there.
5. The Regulators. Again, I liked this book... but not as much as Desperation, which I read first.

The Twilight Zone
- Top 5:

-Lisey's Story
- It
- Misery
-Needful things
-Full dark, No Stars

Bottom 5:

- The Colorado Kid ( I couldn't get over the practical joke of it being a mystery book because it's not resolved. I laughed of course because only Stephen King would do something like that and it was brilliantly written, but still...)
- The tommyknockers
- Charlie
- Gerald's game
- Cell

But I might change my mind about the top 5 in the next 5 minutes, it's a pretty tough call.

Very interesting lists, I must say.
While the anthologies are my favorites for sure, my top/bottom five novels are, in no particular order:
-The Stand(almost everyone's favorite)
-The Green Mile(same as above)
-Eyes of the Dragon(a forgotten gem, I think, Although it's been probably twenty years since I read it)
-Under The Dome(Funny how it makes many of the top AND bottom five. I loved it!)
-tie-between Delores Claiborne and Gerald's Game(I thought they were both really, really good).
Bottom five
-The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon.(I thought it was ok..not bad, just ok.)
-Bag of Bones(again..just ok)
-Insomnia(it was/is just ok. It had it's moments)
- The Tommyknockers(again, it's been a long time since I've read it. Just not bad).
-Lastly, and don't crucify me..IT!! I know it is held with so many high regards...I thought it was just..meh.

:lee::hammer: Let's get him guys!!!

Nah, just kiddin'. Like I can talk, I have the shining in my bottom 5.

Top:

1, IT
2, 11/22/63
3, The Stand
4, The Langoliers
5, Dark Tower: Drawing of the Three

I feel I might have to reshuffle these now that I have read Joyland. It really is pushing DT: DoT3 and The Langoliers.
