I recent got insomnia, limited edition by ziesing books and the dust jacket is so gorgeous gave me an idea for a thread. What r your top 5 designed dust jackets. With one honorable mention. I just thought of this so don't have my list ready but the insomnia limited and 11/22/63 will definitely be on there. Will post the other 3 and hm tonight. Definitely like to hear your guys and gals thoughts

I liked this cover of The Shining. It was the first SK book that I read. I believe this was the first paperback cover

I think this was the first Night Shift cover too (I had this one too)

I just recently bought that one above (the Shining) with the silver cover - even though it is 38 years old, you can still see a reflection of your face in the cover - it is a pretty nice piece of work, actually

Well, I'll have to get back to you on the other three, but Desperation and The Regulators are my two favorites. I LOVE Mark Ryden!

Have you tried using the Upload a File button? (bottom of the reply box between Preview and More Options...)
As long as the photo is under 1MB, you shouldn't have any trouble using this option.
Also, if the photo is hosted online, you can just right click and copy the image and then paste into your reply.

Not sure of any numerical list, but I like the old eighties Viking jackets/covers. To me, those are yer vintage ass-kickers right there. Big ol 'Stephen KING' up top, title below. Lotta black and red. Boom, IT! NEEDFUL THINGS! CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF! They all had that distinctive look, like E.C. horror comics--weren't no mistaking a King book back then, kiddies.

It'd be cool to see that style again, maybe just for a lark, on his next big screamer.

Sorry took so long. My other 3 are Desperation, cujo and my favorite is wind through the keyhole. A ton too look at but not cluttered in anyway. Just perfecto
