Hello. I've been trying to support the effort of writers and publishers to stand up to Amazon by not purchasing through Amazon. This is (as I'm sure many of you know) often a bit costly and inconvenient. I'm not one who thinks Amazon is evil, but I do think that strong-arming publishers can push some beyond the point of survival. We need the independent publishers (and bookstores) and we need Amazon. I understood Mr. King was also supporting this effort, so imagine my surprise when I tried to catch up on an episode of Under the Dome I'd missed to find I had to go through Amazon Prime to get it. Apparently even if I were willing to withstand the ads. I'm sorry to miss the rest of the season, but I refuse to go through Amazon for a broadcast show that should be free. That's all.
