The movie can almost NEVER be as good as the book, in my opinion.
Neesy , i agree with you. I know, it's too early to conclude. It would be truth to say, that nobody is actually know the root message, except Author. However, it seems they've changed the main idea of the book towards JFK assasination, while i believe it's wrong.

I wouldn't say that basic premise changed but due to time constraints not all of the book's story could be included.

Will see. Some of crytics claims 11/22/63 to has an oversized plot with plenty of common details, but i totally disagree. Of course, it's an impossible challenge to pack all the plot in limited TV-series, but i hope that i was simply confused by the teasers. The thought about the case of 11/22/63 could destroy my imagination, which had been constructed in my mind while reading a book - scares me.

I won't spoil it by telling you more, but there was one change that I understood after Steve explained to me why they did it, but I still didn't like it.

Ms. Mod, you completely made me to sit up and take notice :) I hope that secret would be announced in the future Stephen's interviews, how do you think? I'm curious :)

Moderator I'd like to know as well please.

I wasn't sure if all the episodes would be available at once or be released one at a time. (It will be one a week.)

I already talked to a member here and we think we're going to wait for all the episodes to be available. The plan: get a bunch of goodie roonie food, snacks and drinks and binge watch half one Friday evening and the second half Saturday. Discuss the production Sunday and watch our favorite parts all over again.

Sigmund see Bev's post #77 My understanding is that they'll be releasing an episode per week.

I gave up Showtime so I can get Hulu and watch. I'm excited - it's one of my favorite SK books. I was bummed by Under the Dome - only made it one episode in. I wish I could join the watch party with Sig & co, but I can't binge watch. Kids, dogs, ogres.... no one would leave me alone for that long. I should go check into a hotel.
