Sooooo excited it's coming back!! I can't wait to see who they get from the original series. Might be a little leery if Lynch and co. weren't behind it but since they are........
Do you remember in one of Coop's dreams that Laura was there and it was '25 years later'? I hope they get Sheryl Lee back to play Laura/Maddie and of course Kyle MacLaughlin.

Just finished watching this. I liked the show, but I thought it dragged on a bit towards the second season. I think it was because of the network format dragging on for 22 episodes.
The storyline lost focus after the killer is revealed. Have you watched the prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me? If not, I suggest you hop to it....;-D

So, I started watching the show again, on bluray this time, and it is amazing! I am able to see things on the bluray that I never noticed before. The colors are so gorgeous now, not washed out like they were on VHS or even on the dvd's that I have. My God, this is like watching a brand new show for the first time! I highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend getting the bluray set!!!

Hm...when I heard David Lynch was no longer going to be involved, my first thought was that they should kill the project. If they can do a deal later, fine, but from what I read that his reasons were, the revival could well urinate on the legacy of the original series from a great height (though S2 was no great shakes in any case).

I haven't had time to read up on why Lynch has walked- I'm sure it's 'creative differences', smells to me that it's the same flavor of what they did to Frank Darabont and the Walking Dead..... Don't know if I'll watch it if it doesn't have Lynch involved in it. He's a brilliant director. Nobody can come close to being able to make films like he does. I'm sure that the entire cast is having second thoughts now too and we'll probably see some of them drop out at some point.
