NZ better air UTD soon over there! (If there were actually doors to different whens, we should make NZ air UTD right away ;))

I'd be afraid Flash might accidentally walk through a door to a different where instead of a different when and end up on a planet halfway across the galaxy. She would have to wait years to see the next UTD episode lol

Haha, true. I feel the doors are like a leap of faith and taking chances. I mean, it COULD work (It mostly did for Roland and his ka-tet...)

"Flash, Flash I love you... but we only have 14 hours to watch UTD!"

Sometimes I worry about me.

I think it's great. Especially since one of the actors talked to me via Twitter. This was before I knew he was already a name. I'm glad I didn't know because I've felt awkward ever since then.
I don't want to believe that certain people are superior to others but even I have a hard time not getting caught up in the myth.
Besides that, I never see famous people on a daily basis so his responses (he's made 4 so far) are still surprising to me.

He even answered the question involving criticism of their work. He told me they have a medical doctor as a consultant on the set, which readily explained why he had the paramedic restitching Julia's gunshot wound.
Doctors know that paramedics do cricothyrotomies and you learn to stitch the wound closed afterward, but I've never actually had to do it in a clinical setting because ER or doctors in the operating room have done it; i.e., the patient was still cric'ed when they came into Emergency. But we do no other stitching and several doctors have a major issue with the fact that we "learn it so fast they're apt to leave a pucker scar."
Regardless of that, if I saw that someone needed restitching I'd try it anyway, that is if Julia didn't have a problem with a damn pucker scar. Incidentally I've never met the person who's more upset about scarring than losing their life but o well.
The point of all this is that it explains why the paramedic restitched Julia's gunshot wound. And yes, people complained about the one detail. It's unbelievable. The detail has no impact on the story line. Whatever.
I like the show and more so because almost all the members in the cast will talk to you like you're a human being.
I worked in Hollywood, California as an EMT-B. Almost NONE of the celebrities talked to me then and the few who did had complaints. Consequently, I really love that most of them talk to you.
Even Dean Norris, who's always fighting off vicious hate tweets.
He wrote this one that was hilarious: Big Jim's supposed to be afraid of a pack of teen girls hating on him. No way.
I was ROFLMAO at that.

I'm awkward around celebrities too. I'm a nobody. I could never tweet SK or Joe. Many years ago I was at a con and one of my favorite authors (Roger Zelazny) was alone at a signing table and I couldn't get up the courage to walk over :( L, I have trouble chatting with some of the SKMBers who have had their works published lol. Which cast member are you tweeting with?

I watched Ep 1 last night and DVR'd Ep 2 for tonight. I'll likely be at least a bit behind so Thankee for the careful use of spoilers everyone! :sneaky:

I loved the SK touch and commented to my hubby that I could tell this was written by Steve.

I made that comment when the stove was pulling itself off the wall to attempt to crush Joe, Norrie, et. al. :lol_pig:

Looking forward to this new season!

Last night’s episode was a let-down from last week. A bit of a bore IMO.

But I laughed at the opening, when I heard my 13 year old daughter scream “OH NO!” from her room. She had kept up high hopes her favorite character somehow would have survived that ending from last week’s episode and her character would have continued on the show. She doesn't like the new characters. She said Stephen King is now on her $hit list.
