LOL. That's my makeup for the annual zombie run. Not that I'm not a rotting visage of my former self. I like to think I'm an aging pretty boy like Bruce Campbell but I missed the pretty stage. I seriously do not understand your not being taken though. Taken for 34 years myself. I would have had to try for you back in the day though. Here is me and the better half at our Valentines Red Lobster:View attachment 19519

That is a hell of an improvement on your avatar! :) And you’re right I can see the Bruce Campbell likeness. You and your better half look lovely and so happy on that picture, I envy you! Me, my problem is to do with my geographic location I think. I have been living in Essaouira, Morocco for 3 years now and as much as Moroccans are lovely and very welcoming I think there’s just too much cultural differences. Then they are the expats but most of them are already married and have families so it’s been complicated meeting someone. I keep telling myself I should move somewhere else but then I love it here, it’s a beautiful place where life is pretty good, so I don’t know... I guess I’ll get around to it at some point though.

....you're happy where you are...no sense in rushing into a relationship to muck it up....keep your beautiful soul in the beautiful place....

My grandparents and aunt lived in Morocco way way back. THey are all gone now. But my aunt was young and learned to speak arabic. We always wanted her to become a UN translator, because she also spoke Italian, French and German. They loved Morocco.

I am not surprised they loved Morocco, it really is such beautiful country and your aunt did a lot better than me, I can just about order my morning croissant in Arabic and that's it. I guess, it doesn't help that most Moroccans can speak French, it has made it too easy for me.

Meh
But the Ogre wouldn't let it go by without a card and flowers. He likes to buy blank cards and write a sweet message. I might get him a balloon.

Love the photo of you and your beloved, Scratch !

I took today off (not enough sleep on Sunday night) - now I feel too tired to make valentine cookies so I am doing bread instead in my bread maker. I start it in there and then finish it by hand.
