....I just ordered Tracy a big bouquet....it's a pittance when compared to how much she means to me....the day itself?....just another excuse to make men feel like weasels if we don't do something for our long suffering partners....also, VD is not the only time I buy her flowers-I try to do it multiple times a year, she has my heart-so the least I can do is give her some visible representation of my love....

Valentine's Day has been co-opted by Hallmark, chocolate and flowers. At one time -- may 100 years ago -- it had meaning. But not anymore. My hubby may bring me a few roses or some chocolates (or a stuffed toy, which I love) but I don't get upset if he doesn't. Sometimes we go out for dinner but, usually, we eat in. My choice... which can often be a pizza or Taco Bell. My hubby knows what I like ;)

I can take it or leave it. I have my husband who I dearly love and adore (going on our 22nd year) but I fully understand how repulsive the day can be to those without someone special. Plus, it's all just a bit too sticky sweet for me anyway. Her's a little something for Valentine's Day haters...

Utterly Gruesome! I would love to show her on my VD table. I have some Bride of Frankenstein figures on display that would look lovely next to her!
I checked out the rest of Jessica's work in the link you posted. Gruesome. :okay:

The table I'm talking about is at work, incase any one might be under the impression that I have a VD display table in my home... I absolutely don't nor ever in a million years would. ;;D
