I usually post stuff like this in the Random Thoughts thread, but thought I'd start a new one for wacky or off-beat stuff we read in the newspaper. The only criteria is that it has to be reported by "legitimate" news sources (and yes, I realise the oxymoron of the phrase in today's digital world), but deals with stuff that's just...not right. So post your weird news stories here.

I'm going to start with this one. Anyone on the Forum who lives in South Carolina, feel free to comment.
