1. Who do you feel is the best male singer ever?
Meat Loaf.

2. What song title best represents your life?
Sometimes it's "Ain't That a Kick in the Head", other times it's "This Charming Life".

3. What about being an adult do you wish someone had told you about before it happened?
That it's not all its cracked up to be. Like the song says "Hold on to sixteen as long as you can..."

4. Post a picture or gif that shows us your personality.
My avatar is so me.

5. Of what are you the “King” or “Queen?”
Tetris. Stared playing on my first GameBoy (1988, maybe?) and still play on the XBOX.

6. Did you ride bikes when growing up? Describe.
Yes, just around the neighborhood.

7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe.
There's this squirrel that like to "hump" our back screen door. So, every now and then someone in the kitchen is eye-level with his nuts.

8. You have to trade lives with a celebrity. Who will it be and why?
Tabitha King. I think the "why" is self-explanatory.

9. What documentary would you recommend for us to watch?
I can't think of any right now.

10. Think of a weird co-worker. What makes them so weird?
I haven't had co-worker in a long time. My former boss was a freak though. For many reasons, but this one sticks out most: one of my jobs was to schedule his dinner meeting (where he'd attempt to woo other professionals so they'd refer business). After a few calls, I realized why everyone on the list was declining the invitations, when one of the gentlemen told me that the doctor (my boss) invites people to the best steak house in the city, then proceeds to order a salad. Only a salad. And boss man wasn't a vegetarian, just cheap.

11. (For Siggy) You suspect your next door neighbor is a serial killer. What do you do?
This is such another great question. I don't have neighbors where I live now, but I wouldn't have been surprised if any former neighbors were serial killers. Don't know what I'd do about it though.

Yep, we rode bikes all the time. I even wrecked my uncle's bike, and was thrown head first onto a rock wall.
....told ya I was the Queen of Clumsy.

7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe.
I got to hold a baby chipmunk. I thought that was pretty cool

8. You have to trade lives with a celebrity. Who will it be and why?
I really don't want to trade lives with anyone.....don't want anyone else's problems

9. What documentary would you recommend for us to watch?
The History of The Eagles

10. Think of a weird co-worker. What makes them so weird?
I don't trust one of our massage therapists....he kinda gives us all the creeps.

11. (For Siggy) You suspect your next door neighbor is a serial killer. What do you do?
Buy night vision binoculars and spy on them. Then, if my suspicions are correct, buy some guns, ammo, and barbed wire.
.....oh yeah, and call the cops.

He really was the best ever. Such an octave range, and a perfectionist.
I listened to him all night last night. That's why I posted that first question.
When I watch him on video, it makes me so sad that such a talent had to go so soon...45 years old.
His voice is just gold. Lately, I've been listening to Love of My Life over and over--the live version. Gorgeous.

Oooh! Now I have to go listen......haven't heard it in a while.

1. Who do you feel is the best male singer ever?
It changes.

2. What song title best represents your life?
"Free fallin"

3. What about being an adult do you wish someone had told you about before it happened?
Look after yourself, do not depend on anyone.

4. Post a picture or gif that shows us your personality.

The one time I cant find the right gif...

5. Of what are you the “King” or “Queen?”
Bedazzled Lenny Kravitz pic.

6. Did you ride bikes when growing up? Describe.
Yes, a purple one, then a dirt bike.

7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe.
Some. Do Canadian geese count? I used to be attacked by many of them nipping and noise making. I fed them dried corn. About 50 of them (including babies) would run really fast from the pond and honk and peck at me as soon as they saw I opened my front door. I had to throw corn and run.

8. You have to trade lives with a celebrity. Who will it be and why?
I would not want to be a celebrity.

9. What documentary would you recommend for us to watch?
I don't know. Have to start watching more of them.

10. Think of a weird co-worker. What makes them so weird?
Now? Low talking paper ripper. I am going to spaz out and have a seizure at work one day if this keeps up.

11. (For Siggy) You suspect your next door neighbor is a serial killer. What do you do?

Look in his basement. Look for fresh dug backyard. Lock your door.

1. Who do you feel is the best male singer ever? Layne Staley

2. What song title best represents your life? Would? Alice In Chains

3. What about being an adult do you wish someone had told you about before it happened? That it was so complicated and that it sucks for the most part.

4. Post a picture or gif that shows us your personality. Please see my avatar.

5. Of what are you the “King” or “Queen?” I'm the King of not being fooled.

6. Did you ride bikes when growing up? Describe. Yes, we rode bikes everywhere in the small town I grew up. We rode them to school, on dirt trails, to the river, and to ball games. We pretty much lived on our bikes.

7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe. Yes, an odd one, but this was definitely not cool in any way. I shot and killed a deer when I was 9 years old. My dad insisted I go deer hunting with him every winter. It was a one of my "rites" of passage I guess. After shooting the deer, I got to look this 7-point buck in the eye and watch it breath its last breath. It was the last I time I intentionally killed ANYTHING. I don't even like to kill spiders or bugs if I don't have to. That experience made quite an impression.

8. You have to trade lives with a celebrity. Who will it be and why? Is Kate Beckinsale's husband a celebrity? Wait, I don't care. I'd trade places with Kate Beckinsale's husband. Why? Well, I bet Kate would be a wonderful conversationalist...lol

9. What documentary would you recommend for us to watch? I like the A&E documentary on Mr. King. It was interesting.

10. Think of a weird co-worker. What makes them so weird? My current co-workers are way too normal. My old cubicle-mate and good friend Travis at the police department wins this award. He's the most metro-sexual male I've ever met, down to the skinny jeans and $400.00 sunglasses he always wore. The guy caught more $h!t from me and everyone else about this fact and took it like a champ. Travis had his hair cut about every three days or so and wore blue jeans with designs on the back pockets. He was also the smartest detective I ever worked with. I can't remember a case he didn't solve in all the years I worked with him. He was a case study in "don't judge a book by its cover".

11. (For Siggy) You suspect your next door neighbor is a serial killer. What do you do? Observe and report:)

1. Who do you feel is the best male singer ever? While I don't think he's the "best" singer ever, I'm gonna go with Joshua Radin. Saw him in concert with Matt Nathanson last year, and he was amazing. His voice is just so soothing and there's something about it that makes me happy.
2. What song title best represents your life? "I Wanna Go Back" by Eddie Money. I seem to live most of my life missing the way things used to be.

3. What about being an adult do you wish someone had told you about before it happened? How it's easy to feel lost, even though you know where you are.

4. Post a picture or gif that shows us your personality.

5. Of what are you the “King” or “Queen?”. The King Of Contradiction.

6. Did you ride bikes when growing up? Describe. Yes! Some of my best childhood memories are of me learning how to ride a bike and the adventures I went on.

7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe. No, I actually haven't. As much as I got for walks/runs in the woods, you would think that I would have had an encounter, but nope.

8. You have to trade lives with a celebrity. Who will it be and why? It would have to be SK. I used to write when I was younger, and I miss the feeling I had when it did it. I kinda want to feel that again.

9. What documentary would you recommend for us to watch? "The King Of Kong: A Fistful Of Quarters", just because it was fun. :)

10. Think of a weird co-worker. What makes them so weird? The fact that she knows she's a horrible person that hurts people, but doesn't seem to care. That whole idea is completely foreign to me.

11. (For Siggy) You suspect your next door neighbor is a serial killer. What do you do? If he or she is a serial killer who only kills bad people like Dexter, then I do nothing. Otherwise I call the FBI. Part of me would like to get to know the person first, because I am fascinated with serial killers and what makes them tick, but I wouldn't risk someone else getting killed.
That is a great picture! (answer to # 4).

1. Who do you feel is the best male singer ever? Well . . . "best" is a broad term. My favorite is Southside Johnny Lyons, but if we're going by the ability to do things most other singers can't, I might be tempted to say Steve Perry (although Journey makes my teeth itch)

2. What song title best represents your life? You Don't Know How it Feels.

3. What about being an adult do you wish someone had told you about before it happened? Nothing anyone tells you about it will prepare you for it.

4. Post a picture or gif that shows us your personality. I have no personality. That's why I like the internet so much.

5. Of what are you the “King” or “Queen?” My little sister used to call me The King of the Quiet (not Quiet, the Quiet). I don't know how she came up with that, but it's because I tend to enjoy being alone more than most people think is good for me.

6. Did you ride bikes when growing up? Describe. I still ride a bicycle wherever I can. It's about the only exercise I get. I guess my best bike-riding story is about how -- in my teens -- my friends and I used to take these old BMX bicycles up to the abandoned granite quarry near where we lived and ride them off the cliffs, roughly 25 feet down into the water. It was a lot of fun, but woe be unto you (well . . . your bike) if you lost your grip on the bike when you hit the water. Those quarries were . . . well . . . I don't know how deep they were. Pretty damn deep, I'm guessing. And swimming back to the edge with one hand, carrying a 30-pound bicycle . . . not as easy as it sounds.

7. Have you ever had an odd/cool encounter with a wild animal? Describe. I was coming down off Mt. Turner, up in Baxter State Park (Maine) one time when I almost ran into a moose . . . literally. Turner is a fairly easy day hike for that part of the world, and from the top you can see the lakes where all the moose come to get a drink in the late afternoon, so I should not have been as surprised as I was. But hiking downhill when you're tired -- while easier -- can be more dangerous than hiking uphill when you're fresh. I was pretty close to the base (and the lakes) and a little out in front of our group, when I came around a copse of trees and a bend in the trail -- moving at a pretty good clip, because I was tired and hungry and interested in getting back to camp -- when this loud rumbling sound and all this crackling brush nearly introduced what I'd had for breakfast to what I was wearing. All I saw was movement. BIG movement. And that rumbling. So I stopped and I looked up and -- roughly about 40 feet away was the moose whom I had surprised as much as he had surprised me (which seems odd to me . . . you'd think he would have smelled me or heard me coming, but he didn't). We just stood there looking at each other for . . . I don't really know how long. I was pretty scared. A moose in summer is not likely to be very dangerous, but they're awful damn big and you just never know. Ultimately, he walked away and I went upon my own way and, after a while, my heartbeat slowed down and life went on the way it does. The following summer, on the very morning we were preparing to summit Katahdin (a much more grueling hike), two moose came moseying right through our camp and woke us up. I ran to get my camera and got a picture of one of them after he had crossed the nearby stream and was standing in the trees about 50 feet away. I could see him fine, and took a photo of him, but when the photo was processed (these being back in the dark ages of something called "film"), you could hardly see him at all.

8. You have to trade lives with a celebrity. Who will it be and why? Tom Petty. We're about the same age, and I've always loved his music and he seems like a pretty down-to-earth guy (insofar as you can tell about such things at a remove). You never hear about Tom Petty doing any of the crazy things that famous musicians sometimes do. He's just like a regular guy who can play and sing the way I wish I could. Oh . . . and if you want to hear something cool, check out Foo Fighters and Jewel doing Stop Dragging My Heart Around.

9. What documentary would you recommend for us to watch? The Last Waltz.

10. Think of a weird co-worker. What makes them so weird? There's this kid who runs a press for us -- young guy, 19 or 20 I think -- who dyes his hair three or four different colors at the same time. Florescent greens and pinks and purples. I don't know if that necessarily makes him "weird," but I'll admit to having a hard time taking the kid seriously (which is more my failing than his). He's also the only guy at work who uses adjectives like "supes" and "totes." Have I reached that point in my
