1. What is the best dish that you prepare? Home made lasagna.

2. When was the last time that you were really scared? Neighbor burning trash, fire out of control. Rural woods.

4. What's the last thing you ate? Turkey wrap.

5. Do you text? No

6. When was the last time you embarrassed yourself in public? Passed the cereal aisle, saw a box of cheerios, burst out crying ( memories of my dad ).

7. Do you sometimes laugh at the wrong times? Always.

8. When was the last time you helped a stranger? Made up the difference in a grocery order when an elderly lady was about to put back several food items at ck out lane.

9. What shoes are you wearing? bare foot.

I got these flip flops from Avon of all places. I actually have 2 of them, but I don't wear them outside because they have a very soft bottom.

3. If spurs came back into style would you wear them to work? Would you make a purchase of boots or do you think any footwear works? Where I live, spurs ARE in style. And no, I have never worn them nor will I ever wear them.

6. When was the last time you went in for a lay-up? about 15 years ago. Playing out on the driveway with my boys. Doing these fancy Michael Jordan moves -- hit the basketball pole and landed flat on my back. Kids are dying laughing. Neighbors everywhere.

7. Is there a set amount of time a person should feel bad about doing or saying something regrettable? I tend to think of those times often. I don't like myself and always try to apologize.

8. Do you look forward to the arrival of the mailman? Or mail-person? Or if you don’t have delivery, do you anticipate with glee or some other happy emotion the opening of your mail receptacle? I love to get the mail and always hope there is a NICE surprise waiting for me. Something totally unexpected in a good way.

10. Have you ever petted an animal other than a dog or cat? Many. From domestic to wild to exotic. The last animal (besides my cats) that I petted just recently was a goat at the state fair.

Definitely country.

Ice cream taster.

I'll pass.

4. What’s your favorite part about today so far?
Bacon cheeseburger.

5. What's for dinner?
Something simple. Hubby isn't here to make anything elaborate lol.

6. What is your worst travelling experience?
The first time I flew there was some kind of mix up with the tickets and I had to sit apart from my parents for some of the flight (not sure why, I was young and don't remember details).

7. What is the strangest thing you've ever seen an animal do?
Our cat meows/paws at the door to get in but when we open the door for her, she just sits there looking at us and won't come in. Or she runs away.

8. What is the strangest thing you've ever seen a child do?
I can't even begin to answer this one...

BLT...extra B

10. How often do you cut your hair?
Usually once or twice a year, but it's been probably 3 years since the last time. It's down to my butt lol.

I'm not a very good cook, but I do make delicious butter cookies.

2. When was the last time that you were really scared?
Yesterday. Kiddo was having a meltdown and hubby wasn't home and I thought I was going to be injured.

3. What is the worst time of the day?
Any time the meltdowns happen.

4. What's the last thing you ate?
Potato chips (with my bacon cheeseburger).

5. Do you text?
I prefer it to talking on the phone.

6. When was the last time you embarrassed yourself in public?
Unfortunately, I embarrass myself a lot, last time was a couple weeks ago when I thought I recognized someone and they looked at me like I was insane...here she was the person I thouht, so I shouldn't have been embarrassed, but I really was.

7. Do you sometimes laugh at the wrongtimes?
Not so much now, but as a child I did.

8. When was the last time you helped a stranger?
Last week at the laundromat. An older lady didn't know how to work the dryers so I did it for her.

9. What shoes are you wearing?
None.

If I have to eat m&ms I'll eat plain ones, but I like them frozen.

This is a rough one. I think our core "self" doesn't change much over time, so I can't really give an age.

I don't know what that means.

I don't know...I still feel bad about some things I did in the 80s.

Our mailbox is half a mile away, I rarely see the mail carriers. I more look forward to the UPS guys...they don't bring bills.

This was a mad difficult question to answer! I love music so very, very much.

Sophomore year of high school.

No, that's personal. But I do think that once you have apologized and made amends as well as you can, you shouldn't try to forget about what you did/said. You don't have to beat yourself up forever, but remembering is a great way not to do/say that particular thing again.

Nah. These days it's mostly bills or ads. The occasional package really does brighten up the day, though

I have it on good authority that some public clothing removal did occur once. I have no personal recollection of that matter

Not for the past several years.

Definitely. In negative and positive ways.

We live in the woods...I don't personally maintain our property (hubby does the outdoor stuff, I take care of the inside of the house).

4. When looking for a parking spot, say in a large parking area or perhaps a parkinggarage, what criteria do you use or do you swing into the first available slot?
I pull into the first easy spot to get out of.

5. Have you ever dined at a table that had a red checkered tablecloth?
Not that I recall.

6. When it came time for your execution, if you can imagine you've been convicted of a heinous crime, do you think you would be able to walk to your death unassisted, or would they have to take you there screaming and kicking, perhaps under sedation?
Wow, I don't know.

Probably look around first.

No.

I don't think I believed in it at all.

Not usually, no. The mailbox just has bills and junk. Unless I've ordered something fun...then I absolutely look forward to mail.
