It seems that by now they could come up with something better! I can see the humor, my Mother always told me I'd have kids just like me....they're here!I fully admit that some of my humor might have been mother's payback as she was the only one I had pitocin with and it was a miserable labor.
I'm just happy that it (so far anyway) has more pages than the 'Welcome Back MsCod' thread....This thread is still going?

Don't make it sound like it's a bad thing. I can carry a tune (or tuna, for that matter!). Yes, I've bled the two threads together now. I am ashamed.....I could be mistaken, but you were just over there singing for us weren't you?

More like Sushi & The Manatees.....Nothing to be ashamed of, you have a terrific singing voice, reminds me of a lot of Dean Mackerel...

She is beautiful! Not that I'm prejudiced but she's much cuter in person. Here's one with her awake having play time.

AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let's just say that it will take her a while to forget about the delivery so that she'll consider having a second one. They started inducing on Wednesday around 4 PM but although she was having contractions, her cervix wasn't dilating. It wasn't until they really pushed up the pitocin dosage a couple hours before she delivered that she finally got to 4 cm so they could break her water and after that it went quickly. All told about 30 hours of labor.

Lol.... a sense of humor while in labor! But 30 hours! Your poor daughter! Congrats on the new addition to your family, she is adorable! When my daughter was in labor, the nurse would keep telling her "she's a happy baby!" after they did checks on her. My daughter texted me that and added that she thought she was an angry, spiteful baby. This was about 24 hours into it. My thought was, "oh, yeah, this is someone who's been in labor a while," and couldn't help but chuckle even though I was feeling sorry for her for being in labor so long.
Awwww - she's so cute! (30 hours labour?) - yikes! Not that I'm prejudiced but she's much cuter in person. Here's one with her awake having play time.
