Hallelujah!
I DO NOT have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)!
The results from the spirometry test came finally back after 4 weeks...and NADA, friends and neighbors, clear lungs!
Man, I couldn`t be happier if somebody had given me a check for two million bucks right now, there is no price tag on health!
Thank, you, God!
And thanks to all of you for your support and love that you showed me, it is an honor having you as my friends!
Much love and happy Weekend!
Great news-- Thankful!!

...damn!

I got diagnosed with COPD ( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ).
If that is not awesome, I don`t know what is. :(
Besides the obvious one, that I have to quit smoking, anyone got some advice on this?
Of course, I hope that none of you have it, but if you do, can you share your experience in living with this?
Thanks.
Man, I quit drinking, I exercise like I`m getting ready for the Olympics, I eat healthy, go to bed around 10-11, get up at 5, do my thing, live a quite life...and then...well, f..k.
As Freddie would say " Who wants to live forever? "...probably no one, but why can`t we just grow old without bringing a ton of diseases into your old(er) age?
Sorry for the whining, but...these are not easy news to handle...
Srbo, I've had COPD for a couple of years. It's limiting, but if you are careful with meds and look for shortcuts and planning, you can do almost what you want. The smoking is a separate battle and I am determined to win that one. Be good to yourself. Anger takes too much energy.

Congrats Srbo! One more of life's bullets dodged. I think you should persevere in quitting smoking and drinking. Myself, I'd make sure the little one is safe and out of sight and celebrate by drinking. I'm like you in that I don't drink often, I don't like to drink, but I like to get drunk. I think it brings me closer to God, as I can't really listen to him or talk with him when I am sober (in vino veritas?). Smoking on the other hand is just plain stupid. I'm glad you got the good news sir.

Wonderful news about not having COPD. I was curious about your being able to do all those exercises while having COPD. All that physical training scared away the bad stuff!
