Going to watch tonight. My son came home for the week and wanted me to wait to watch it with him! I like the choice for Gunslinger though, at least it appears so from the brief glimpses I've seen.
It's interesting. The opening was interesting. Definitely more high tech and different, but I think I can get behind it. I sometimes have a hard time doing that when I love an old movie so much. But again, I think they just may make this a good homage.

I hear ya. I'm a big fan of the original movie too. Yul Brynner was great as the gunslinger.

Brenner definitely had his character down. I remember being creeped out by that movie when I was a kid, especially Brenner's gunslinger character. Did you ever see the sequel "Futureworld"? Not as good, but still interesting. It came along sometime around 1977-78 if memory serves.
